Following the ethos of the
Sapeurs, I would like to look further into the ways in which clothing can be
used a mechanism for rebellion, escapism and showing cultural heritage. All three of these things have had a huge impact
in the UK’s recent history and so I think it would be fascinating to see how I
could reinterpret the Cult Of Elegance for a modern British audience.
